A glimmer of improvement
About two Christmases ago I bought a bottle of Glimmer Mist and in my imagination this little bottle of prettiness would transform my papers, I'd be glimmering and glistening all over the place. But in reality, when I used it, the effect was more Glimmer-blobs than Glimmer-mist. It became one of those products that was consigned to the 'tried it and didn't like it' section of the study. Today I decided to have another go, and armed with instructions from Denise I sprayed, I wafted card beneath the mist and I have to say that I finally see how this stuff works! Now I just have to master how to stop the Glimmered card from curling at the edges and I'll be fine. Still once it's in an album it won't show that the edges curl will it? J
I used it to work on a layout using a photo that was taken on Comic Relief's Red Nose Day this year. In order to 'do something funny for money' all the secretaries {and a drama teacher} at work dressed in red tutus with deely boppers. This is something that will probably never happen again, so has to be recorded for posterity, right?

I think I need glimmer mist instructions as well....I end up with more blobs than anything else!!
so satisfying to discover the secret technique - wish they would print it on each produce !
Ooh Deb, are you allowed to share more instructions on the misting front? I get in such a pickle everytime I try!! :)
I love glimmer mist, recently I discovered Maya Mists as well and I really like them too... less blobbage:)
I'm with you on the not used very often front so I need to corner Denise and get the instructions I think.
I just can't get the hang of Glimmer Mists at all...I end up throwing more card away when I try than anything.Love your LO and thanks for leaving a comment about my project for this week

well done on mastering the glimmer mists, i still struggle with them. Fab layout :)
Glad it's working for you. My biggest frustration is the way the nozzles get clogged up.

Love the layout and the tutu's was a fab idea. I've glimmer mist pushed away somewhere too, might have to find it out now.
It looks like you've cracked it! I ended up just learning to love the blobs lol
I'm impressed!! I too have glimmer mist lying dormant in my stash!! I didn't like how it made the paper/card buckle when damp!! So..do share these instructions...I might just have another go...i have some lovely Tim Holtz masks that haven't even been opened yet!!!! That's a great LO & definitely a moment to be documented!!! :)
That's a great page and photo - and deserved to be recorded! And there's not a blob in sight - wow. Mine not only blobs, it clumps and dribbles too...
