My daughter has had the builders back into her house today and as she didn't trust them not to leave a door open and let the puppy escape, Coco came to stay with me at my house. There's been very little housework done today as she likes to go to sleep nestled up beside you on the sofa, so once she's fallen asleep - you are stuck there next to her until she wakes up ...
And you know what they say about letting sleeping dogs lie ........
My kids use that excuse for not doing their chores all the time. A cat is sleeping on them and they can't move. It's their excuse for remaining parked in front of the television when they are procrastinating!
ReplyDeleteAwww how sweet :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photo Deb and what a lovely puppygran you are.xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie she is!

Aww how cute, my Susie is exactly the same and she is 5 x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great excuse to snuggle up with a warm puppy :)
ReplyDeleteSame as Cheri...it's the cat in our house that we don't want to disturb. :o)
ReplyDeleteThat little puppy is so sweet, and I'm so glad she's won your heart, Deb. Gee, you should have let your daughter get a puppy YEARS ago! ;o)
LOL! love it :) When hubby and I are sitting on the couch in the evening, we will use the excuse of having one of the animals on our lap in order of getting out of doing something!
ReplyDeleteAhhh .. looks like there's a sweet scrapbook page in there.:)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to move either. She's such a cutie :0)
ReplyDeleteGreat excuse for not doing any housework at all :) Wonder if I can claim visiting pups whenever The Doctor thinks I should have tidied up or vacuumed and I thought I should have been scrapbooking?!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet distraction!!
