It is a gloriously sunny warm autumnal day here this Monday. The kind of day that makes you feel energised and ready to keep busy! I took this photo yesterday while on our dog walk and we all enjoyed the crunching of the leaves underfoot and the enjoyment of scattering the crunchy carpet beneath the trees in the misunderstanding that one of us could run up a tree to catch a squirrel. Guess who that was 🤔
So a busy, productive morning so far with the weekly shop done, garden tidy ups in progress, a warming soup made out of the left over half a butternut squash from Sunday lunch yesterday, and batch cooking a ragu to put three meals in the freezer. All that before 1pm!
Can you answer a question for me? I have a voucher for extra loyalty card points next time I buy petrol.
Use instore only. How on earth could I buy a tankful of petrol online? 😆

That's a lovely Autumnal scene right there - West London is also very crunchy underfoot.
Hahaha!! I guess they had to add that disclaimer just in case someone figured out a way to full the gas tank online!! Crazy.
Those leaves are lovely but I would hate to have to rake them up. Makes me sneeze!! There's one benefit to living in a desert - very few leaves. Paul cleaned up the few we had around the front door with the broom this morning.
You had quite a productive morning. Would love to try your butternut soup. I like squash and pumpkin soups very much but PC doesn't. I can never justify making it just for me.
It is definitely soup weather. I think your crunchy leaves photo would fit right in here. Not sure how your petrol stations work, but maybe it means you have to go inside the service before you pump to show your coupon. Many of our gas stations require that you go inside & pay before you pump because of many gas & dash bandits about!!
Running behind with reading blogs this week - but hope you figured out how to use that coupon. Would never want a coupon to go to waste!!:)
