Me on Monday

This Monday finds me in a festive mood! What a lovely weekend we had with a trip to see the Enchanted light trail at Audley End with the family on Saturday

And then our Zumba Christmas party on Sunday

It was a combined Christmas/Chinese New Year theme which is why my Zumba teacher is dressed in a beautiful Chinese dress!

So I’m starting the week a little step closer to Christmas celebrations, and the week holds a school Christmas concert midweek, 60th birthday celebrations with (younger) friends 😉 on Friday and early 65th family birthday celebrations for Paul on Sunday. I should probably try and eat sensibly in the beginning of the week!

We ended up having a busy decorating time at the end of last week and now have a much brighter bathroom with a bit of a Club Tropicana feel to it

This is SO different to the rest of our house! We are very much a ‘plain painted walls’ kind of home but I wanted something quite different in here and it certainly makes a change! How lucky that the shampoo and conditioner I use is a similar coral pink as the paper so can be on display in the corner.

Tasks for the week include writing and posting Christmas cards, and wrapping a few more presents, then a bit of baking for Paul's birthday - although there isn't much on the actual calendar I already know it is going to be a busy week!  After all, it's now time to get the decorations out!

Your bathroom looks marvelous. And your new dress for the Zumba party is gorgeous & you both look very festive. The family photo at the Christmas Enchanted Walk looks like the frame was placed in the right location for group photos of happy faces, smiles a glow.

Your wallpaper is amazing--and so cheerful. Every time you are in there, it would feel like a vacation! And just in time to show off to guests over the holidays!

Fun start to December! The wallpaper is very pretty. I'm starting to think about decorating schemes for whenever we get round to home improvements! Have a good week

I am glad I decided not to skip ahead to 2023 and miss these December posts. First, you look fabulous as well as festive in that dress. Your friends dress reminds me of a party pantsuit I once had for office Christmas parties, first at the bank, and then a couple years later at the newspaper. And I too love your wallpaper. I have a very bold playful bird print one one wall in our powder room that I just love. If I ever decide to switch it out, I might have to go coral -- so pretty.
