Raspberry. Cheesecake. Brownies.

Oh

My

Goodness

I found the recipe for Raspberry Cheesecake Brownies over here at Amy's blog. And I had to give it a try. Oh boy. You have GOT to try them. They are to die for. What's not to like? Brownie at the bottom. Baked Cheesecake on top with raspberries here and there. Yum, Yum, and then more Yum. And the raspberries make it a healthy option - one of your 'five a day' ;-)
So then I go over to Mel's page here and she's making mince pies with a sponge cake topping. How good does that sound? And I don't even like mince pies! But I bet I could force a couple of those little babies down.
I think there's a serious need for a scrapbooking/blog/recipe share/site!

I saw those on Amy's blog and thought they looked fab. Really will have to give them a try now. Mel's mince pies looked pretty excellent too. Hmm..not enough hours in the day!

My gosh I have to try those brownie cheesecakes!

Last months sainsbury's magazine had recipes for all kinds of mince pie toppings, inc. ginger crumble, chestnut frangipane (know I haven't spelt that right) and pomegranate! Whole new world of mince pies!!

They are too good to be true aren't they? As I said in my post though, not good to make when you are in a position to eat them ALL BY YOURSELF - because, if there is half a chance you will! I'm not a mince pie girl either, but, love the idea of sponge on the top and homemade fruit mince - Mel has some nifty ideas.... a recipe share is a very good idea as well.
